CHILDHOOD - A MISERY FOR SOME??

Today I was out with my friends and I saw three poverty stricken kids dancing in front of  few people and the people were laughing and making videos...Isn't it child labor?? These kids were dancing just in a hope to earn  few rupees but we people on the other side were trying to take advantage of their mishap. Most of us are so educated and talented still we don't have the wisdom to understand the value of a talent or respect others feelings. We have forgotten that we are sent to this world to love everyone and live happily. But we have actually tilted ourselves so much towards the western countries that we have forgotten our moral values just to enjoy a couple of hours with friends and hurting someone for a lifetime.

We spent most of our hours in our idiot boxes there are so many shows already running which feature small kids.Isn't that child labor??Long working hours and trying to imitate someone or something which doesn't even exist in their small worlds.Due to such shows they get money and fame at such a young age. Then it gives a bad effect  for the rest of their lives. These children are loosing such a essential part of their lives. They get addicted to this fame and crave for it. Today we have forgotten to deal with the loopholes of our society which are guaranteed to be abolished but still comes out of us in different situations.Child labor doesn't only mean long working hours in the factories in incandescent lights without regular payment. All the above mention things are child labor. As a child below the age of 18 should only be allowed to get educated and enjoy the awesome school life!!

HARD TO UNDERSTAND!!

Yesterday I was travelling in a bus and a poor girl who had scattered hair and torn clothes was sitting in front of my seat.Even though the bus was fully packed and half of the people were standing no one wanted to sit with that girl. We say that untouchability had been abolished in our country many years back still we have not removed such traditions from our hearts and minds. We don't even look at people with ugly faces or shabby clothes. We are in the 21st century our lives are running so fast and we as youth are so educated and know all about upgraded technology but still we are blind and deaf. If our faith in God cannot come into action from our works it's useless. We talk against social inequalities but when are we going to have the insight to work it out.The tears in the eyes of a persecuted person are like pearls so precious in God's sight.I visited a blind school today and the children were singing songs. The truth and innocence in their hearts could be heard in their songs. I seriously don't want them to know the truth of the outside world. The love in between them and their innocence would be lost and they would be left behind in the race of acceptance. They can't see but they can imagine the beauty of this Earth and they daily thank God for it.
We have eyes but still can't see the beauty of the hearts,we have ears but still can't hear the cries of the people,we have hearts but still can't love the people around us.....
