Yesterday I was travelling in a bus and a poor girl who had scattered hair and torn clothes was sitting in front of my seat.Even though the bus was fully packed and half of the people were standing no one wanted to sit with that girl. We say that untouchability had been abolished in our country many years back still we have not removed such traditions from our hearts and minds. We don't even look at people with ugly faces or shabby clothes. We are in the 21st century our lives are running so fast and we as youth are so educated and know all about upgraded technology but still we are blind and deaf. If our faith in God cannot come into action from our works it's useless. We talk against social inequalities but when are we going to have the insight to work it out.The tears in the eyes of a persecuted person are like pearls so precious in God's sight.I visited a blind school today and the children were singing songs. The truth and innocence in their hearts could be heard in their songs. I seriously don't want them to know the truth of the outside world. The love in between them and their innocence would be lost and they would be left behind in the race of acceptance. They can't see but they can imagine the beauty of this Earth and they daily thank God for it.
We have eyes but still can't see the beauty of the hearts,we have ears but still can't hear the cries of the people,we have hearts but still can't love the people around us.....
