Delhi was in darkness for about two days due to some technical problems in the northern grid but we were still able to access social networking sites like facebook, twitter etc and share our thoughts and we survived with our generators..
I was just thinking what if there were no electricity for about one week & its raining continuously and no mobile phones,no internet services, no communication and stuck somewhere...I know it seems like a filmy scene..but still don't you think with so many technology advancements it seems so easy to communicate with anyone, anytime but due to this we have actually lost connectivity and we live in our own fake worlds. We don't even know our neighbors properly but we sit and chat on social networking sites to unknown people for hours who might have made a fake account. We don't even spend time with our families as we are busy in our laptops and idiot boxes. Years back the whole family would sit together for dinner and have a chat and share their problems. But now, it all seems like a dreamland. We all eat dinner whenever we are free or out of our so-called hectic lives. We have so many people around us to talk, laugh and make fun of each other but still we all are lost and we hide our real self from everyone. We are just living a hypocritical lives which makes us unsatisfied and unhappy because we are not showing who we are. We want everyone to know that we are really interesting and fun to hang out with. We spend our whole day on internet, android phones but we don't try to find our own self. We have brought this hypocrisy into our relationships also. Relationships have become all about lust and money. We love to show everyone that we love and care each other but actually we hate people from the depth of our hearts.
Why can't we behave who we are. Why is it so difficult? Why have our lives became a showpiece which looks beautiful from outside but from inside it's broken? What if we just have two or three true people with us instead of hundreds of fake relations? Be real. Don't pretend or you will end up in a vicious circle where you have many people around you but still you would be lost forever.
I still think that it would be good if we don't have all these technological advancements for sometime at least we would be able to understand the true worth of relationships. Technology which promises to make our lives much easier but makes it more complicated..
