WHY? Do you always keep on asking questions? Or do you have anyone around you who keeps on questioning you? I have the habit of questioning since my childhood. It all started when we all used to watch television together. I kept on asking who is she? Or what is she upto? But people used to get irritated and told me to shut up. When I was in class 7th our maths teacher used to start thinking in between teaching us. He taught the most important thing that keep on asking questions like why is the sky blue? or Why am I coming to school? From that day on wards I question everyday of my life. And today also I have a question that what is the purpose of my living? Why am I living on this Earth? I struggle everyday to get an answer and may be today this blog is also to find out my answer.
Sometimes I feel like what's the use of thinking so much...Get drunk and move on (itna dimag khapane ki kya zarurat hai)..Or chill out with buddies, have fun and forget about everything..But do you think this is the answer to my question? For me, this means to ignore or escape from my problem.
I sometimes feel studying well then getting a good job, earning a lot of money and at last marrying the guy I love and then having a happy family is my purpose of life but what after that..? Getting old with him and die one day. But do you think I'll be satisfied at my death bed with my life? Doesn't it seem like a part of some 'once upon a time' book or romantic movie?
To tell you the truth I don't want to have such a life. I always wanted an adventurous life and hate 8-5 jobs that was one of the reasons I got into a journalism college but it turned out that I would end up in a same boring job. But still I have hopes to have an adventurous and challenging job.
So as I was talking about the question why...Do you think Newton could have ever found out about gravity if he never asked the question why and how did this apple fall on my head?
And this question WHY always leads us to the purpose of our lives or may be lead to an invention.
So, don't you think without this why in our lives, it would turn out to be useless and unproductive?
Haven't we stopped asking this question. Nowadays we like to live in ignorance and following the schedules of our calendar without even giving a thought to our lives.
So I would like you to think WHY before taking a decision or everyday ask WHY are you given this life? Even though I'm also in the quest of finding the purpose of my life. Hope I'll find it in this lifetime.
